Our Iron Fit leggings feature a 0.75 inch elastic for a slide-resistant fit at the waist,a front gusset, and proportionally roomier thighsand calves for muscular body types.
OurMaille leggings are based on 12th century maille(colloquially, chainmail)leg defenses. Not many tangible examples of armor from thistime still survives, but this design is based off of manuscript illustrations of the period that featured an open back tied to the leg, rather than the "stocking" variation that is commonly seen. A layer of linked chain rings was layered over a leather backing, then likely fastened toa belt around the waist to stay suspended.
